This article aims to analyze cultural sociology as a central field of inquiry for understanding the relationship between culture and social structure by tracing its theoretical foundations and contemporary developments. The article begins with the classical roots of sociology, particularly the contributions of Émile Durkheim, Max Weber, and Georg Simmel, which established an early understanding of culture as a structural element and a producer of meaning within society. It then examines structural and post-structural approaches, focusing on the works of Pierre Bourdieu, Antonio Gramsci, and Stuart Hall, which reconceptualized culture as a field of symbolic struggle and the reproduction of power and social domination. The article also addresses interpretive approaches that view culture as a dynamic symbolic system, highlighting Clifford Geertz’s contributions and the analysis of cultural representation, and emphasizing the role of meanings and symbols in shaping individual and collective identities. In the context of contemporary transformations, the article discusses the impact of globalization, digital technologies, and cultural industries on cultural practices, social interaction, psychological warfare, morale building, and learning through modeling. It argues that culture has moved beyond being merely a value system to become a strategic tool of psychological and social influence, playing a crucial role in understanding symbolic transformations and shifting identities in contemporary societies. The article concludes that cultural sociology provides essential analytical tools for understanding the dynamics of meaning, power, and identity in a world characterized by technological acceleration and the expansion of cultural spaces, making it a vital field for analyzing ongoing social transformations. الملخص : يهدف هذا المقال إلى تحليل علم الاجتماع الثقافي بوصفه حقلًا معرفيًا مركزيًا في فهم العلاقة بين الثقافة والبناء الاجتماعي، من خلال تتبّع أسسه النظرية وتطوّراته المعاصرة. ينطلق المقال من الجذور الكلاسيكية في السوسيولوجيا، خاصة إسهامات إميل دوركايم، وماكس فيبر، وجورج سميل، التي أرست فهمًا أوليًا للثقافة باعتبارها عنصرًا بنيويًا ومنتجًا للمعنى داخل المجتمع. ثم ينتقل إلى مناقشة المقاربات البنيوية وما بعد البنيوية، مع التركيز على أعمال بيير بورديو، وأنطونيو غرامشي، وستيوارت هول، التي أعادت قراءة الثقافة كمجال للصراع الرمزي، وإعادة إنتاج السلطة والهيمنة الاجتماعية. كما يتناول المقال المقاربات التفسيرية التي تنظر إلى الثقافة كنظام رمزي ديناميكي، خاصة إسهامات كليفورد غيرتز وتحليل التمثيل الثقافي، مبرزًا دور المعاني والرموز في تشكيل الهوية الفردية والجماعية. وفي سياق التحولات المعاصرة، يناقش المقال تأثير العولمة، والتكنولوجيا الرقمية، والصناعات الثقافية على الممارسات الثقافية، والتفاعل الاجتماعي، والحرب النفسية، ورفع الروح المعنوية، والتعلم بالنمذجة. ويُبرز المقال أن الثقافة لم تعد مجرد إطار قيمي، بل أصبحت أداة استراتيجية للتأثير النفسي والاجتماعي، وعنصرًا حاسمًا في فهم التحولات الرمزية والهويات المتغيرة في المجتمعات المعاصرة. ويخلص المقال إلى أن علم الاجتماع الثقافي يوفّر أدوات تحليلية أساسية لفهم ديناميات المعنى، والسلطة، والهوية، في عالم يتسم بالتسارع التكنولوجي وتداخل الفضاءات الثقافية، مما يجعله مجالًا حيويًا لدراسة التحولات الاجتماعية الراهنة.
