تتناول هذه المطبوعة البيداغوجية موضوع حقوق الإنسان من منظور سوسيولوجي يربط بين الحقوق والحريات الأساسية من جهة، والبنى الاجتماعية والثقافية والسياسية للمجتمعات من جهة أخرى. وتهدف إلى تمكين الطلبة من فهم المفاهيم الأساسية المرتبطة بالحق والإنسان وحقوق الإنسان، والتعرف على مختلف الاتجاهات الفكرية والفلسفية التي أسهمت في تفسير هذه الحقوق وتحديد مضامينها وتصنيفاتها المتعددة. كما تستعرض المطبوعة المسار التاريخي لتطور حقوق الإنسان منذ الحضارات القديمة، مرورا بالديانات السماوية والشريعة الإسلامية، وصولا إلى العصر الحديث وما شهده من تحولات فكرية وقانونية أسهمت في إرساء منظومة عالمية لحماية الحقوق والحريات. وتسلط المطبوعة الضوء على المصادر الدولية والوطنية لحقوق الإنسان، مع التركيز على دور الأمم المتحدة والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان والعهدين الدوليين والاتفاقيات الدولية المتخصصة، إضافة إلى الآليات القانونية والقضائية المعنية بحماية هذه الحقوق ومتابعة تنفيذها. كما تتناول عددا من الحقوق الأساسية والفئات المستهدفة بالحماية، من بينها حقوق المرأة والطفل، والحق في التعليم والصحة والعمل، وحرية الرأي والتعبير، مع إبراز الأبعاد الاجتماعية والثقافية المرتبطة بممارسة هذه الحقوق داخل المجتمع. وتسعى هذه المطبوعة إلى ترسيخ الثقافة الحقوقية لدى الطلبة، وتنمية وعيهم بأهمية حقوق الإنسان باعتبارها إحدى الركائز الأساسية لتحقيق الكرامة الإنسانية والعدالة الاجتماعية والمساواة والتنمية المستدامة، وتعزيز قيم المواطنة واحترام التنوع والتعايش داخل المجتمعات المعاصرة. This pedagogical publication addresses the subject of human rights from a sociological perspective that links rights and fundamental freedoms on the one hand, and the social, cultural, and political structures of societies on the other. It aims to enable students to understand the basic concepts related to rights, the human being, and human rights, and to become acquainted with the various intellectual and philosophical trends that have contributed to the interpretation of these rights and the determination of their contents and multiple classifications. The publication also reviews the historical evolution of human rights from ancient civilizations, through the monotheistic religions and Islamic law, to the modern era and the intellectual and legal transformations that contributed to the establishment of a global system for the protection of rights and freedoms. The publication highlights the international and national sources of human rights, with a focus on the role of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the two International Covenants, and specialized international conventions, in addition to the legal and judicial mechanisms concerned with the protection of these rights and the monitoring of their implementation. It also examines a number of fundamental rights and groups targeted for protection, including the rights of women and children, the right to education, health, and work, and freedom of opinion and expression, while emphasizing the social and cultural dimensions associated with the exercise of these rights within society. This publication seeks to promote a culture of human rights among students and to develop their awareness of the importance of human rights as one of the fundamental pillars for achieving human dignity, social justice, equality, and sustainable development, as well as strengthening the values of citizenship, respect for diversity, and coexistence within contemporary societies.
