Abstract

It is self-evident that the United States of America sees itself as a legitimate heir to Western pivot after old Europe, and then took the lead in accomplishing its mission of fighting and colonizing others in various ways, in order to confirm its superiority and eligibility to lead humanity, and at the same time prove the inferiority of other peoples. However, its technological, political, and military superiority was not matched by a similar development in social values, morals, and behaviors. Rather, this contributed greatly to the decline of the human and spiritual aspect, which led to the spread of pests and psychological and social crises, and this in turn created a deep chasm in Western society between material development and moral decline. Between obscene wealth and extreme poverty. This is what made Western society, in the eyes of Roger Garaudy, live a crisis of values, and we will try in this modest study to show his position on This crisis.
