Abstract

The university is regarded as a social and scientific entity concerned with bringing researchers and scientific competencies together to benefit from their human and material potential in order to improve social and economic conditions in society. It also significantly contributes to the performance of the scientific research function as well as the preservation of cultural heritage and values in a qualitative composition of human resources eager to carry out the process of research and scientific knowledge production.We wanted to shine a light on Algerian universities in order to identify research laboratories and competencies in the process of producing scientific knowledge.
