Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of academic ambition among of pupils of the middle school. and to reveal this, the researcher relied on the descriptive method and the Aspiration Scale which have been applied by Awad Abdul-Azim (2005) after ensure its psychometric properties. the basic study included a sample of 136 students from both the third and fourth year of middle school. The results of the study revealed that the pupils has a law level of ambition, there are a significant differences due to the gender variable in favor of females and no differences between third and fourth year pupils of middle school.
