El poder catártico de la autobiografía bareana: un recorrido por el sinuoso camino de la resiliencia del autor

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende indagar en la labor que desempeñó la escritura autobiográfica para Arturo Barea, en su afán de alcanzar cierta resiliencia de cara a las traumáticas vivencias de la guerra a las que se tuvo que enfrentar durante su periplo vital. De hecho, nuestro trabajo hará especial hincapié en el proyecto autobiográfico que emprende Barea, intentando demostrar que éste persigue una aplastante necesidad de exteriorizar sus vivencias más íntimas, pero, sobre todo, todas aquellas experiencias traumáticas que le marcaron hondamente. In fact, our work will place special emphasis on the autobiographical project that Barea undertakes, trying to show that he pursues an overwhelming need to externalize his most intimate experiences, but, above all, all those traumatic experiences that marked him deeply. This literary exercise aims, according to our conclusions, to achieve a certain catharsis and resilience in the face of the author's fatefu past.
