Abstract

تُعد هذه المطبوعة مرجعًا معرفيًا شاملًا يدرس تطور الفكر اللساني من خلال أربعة عشرة محاضرة موجهة لطلبة الماستر، حيث تتناول البدايات التاريخية للدراسات اللغوية في الحضارات الهندية واليونانية والعربية، ثم تنتقل إلى اللسانيات الحديثة مع الثورة البنيوية التي قادها فرديناند دي سوسير، إضافة إلى المدارس الوصفية الأوروبية والأمريكية. كما تعرض نظريات نعوم تشومسكي في النحو التوليدي والتحويلي وبرنامج الحد الأدنى، مع إبراز الاتجاهات الوظيفية التي يمثلها هاليداي. وتتوسع المطبوعة لتشمل مجالات حديثة مثل التداولية ولسانيات النص واللسانيات الاجتماعية والإدراكية، بهدف تمكين الطالب من فهم المناهج اللغوية المختلفة وتحليلها نقديًا، وربط الجوانب النظرية بالتطبيقية لفهم اللغة البشرية بوصفها ظاهرة معقدة ومتطورة.

This publication serves as a comprehensive scholarly reference that examines the development of linguistic thought through fourteen lectures designed for Master’s students. It addresses the historical origins of linguistic studies in Indian, Greek, and Arab civilizations, before moving to modern linguistics with the structuralist revolution led by Ferdinand de Saussure, in addition to European and American descriptive schools. It also presents Noam Chomsky’s theories of transformational-generative grammar and the Minimalist Program, while highlighting functionalist approaches represented by Halliday. Furthermore, the publication expands to include modern fields such as pragmatics, text linguistics, sociolinguistics, and cognitive linguistics, with the aim of enabling students to understand and critically analyze various linguistic approaches, while linking theoretical and practical aspects to better understand human language as a complex and evolving phenomenon.
