Abstract: Apuleius of Madaur, Afulay of his real name, African of origin, Romanized to the II 'century of our era. Great connoisseur of the sciences of his time, he has been a place among the illustrious. His multiculturality highly visible in his major work "The golden donkey" or the metamorphoses written in Latin will make him a Mediterranean, a universal.
