Abstract

There is no doubt that the Algerian personality of Emir Abdelkader is known for its tolerance, openness, and defense of the nation and Islamic identity. He is considered a pivotal intellectual and revolutionary figure who laid the foundations of the Islamic civilization project and entrenched values of justice, equality, and recognition of the other. All of this was achieved through his revolutionary system which enhanced the drive for liberation. Hence, our study aims to address these ideas that distinguish Emir Abdelkader in laying the foundations for humanity and coexistence.
