Abstract

In this paper we will try to present a reading of the Renaissance project as proposed by the Algerian thinker Malik Ben Nabi, who bet on man as the first actor in the process of social construction, the latter is not merely the cumulative production and consumption of civilization, a mindset that swept the minds of different levels in the Algerian society living a kind of Underdevelopment and barbarism despite the aura of urbanization that appears to its members, in various levels of daily life.
