Abstract

In this paper, we will discuss some opinions of Arab thinkers such as Al-Jabri and Zaki Najib Mahmoud on the Arab-Islamic heritage and how they established a critical stance for its content so that the Arabs can achieve philosophical and intellectual independence and rid themselves of the burden of the past and the families of Western dependence.
