This article aims to investigate the issue of ideological alignment between author and translator and itsimpact on the translation output. The term 'ideology' has become notably prevalent amid the world's escalating cultural, political and ideological conflicts. Consequently, various factors influence the translation of works with ideological dimensions, which may lead some translators to yield to their personal orientations and convictions, thereby hindering their commitment to fidelity in translation. The comparative analytical study that we conducted led us to conclude that ideological alignment between author and translator has a highly significant impact on the translation output. It can result in numerous benefits that enhance the reader's literary experience, such as achieving a more accurate and faithful translation of the original text, conveying the true cultural and intellectual spirit of the text, and communicating the author's messages honestly without distortion.ar_AR
