Héritage Beat Et Hippie Dans La Littérature Rock Française Contemporaine

Abstract

Cet article se propose de présenter deux mouvances spirituelles emblématiques de la contre-culture américaine : les philosophies Beat et Hippie. En décrivant les conditions de leur émergence, leurs préceptes ainsi que leur influence sur certains auteurs américains, nous comprendrons comment ces mouvements se sont imposés comme alternatives spirituelles et culturelles aux Etats-Unis dès la fin des années 1950 puis en France après Mai 1968. Nous étudierons ensuite quelques motifs récurrents de leurs manifestations dans la littérature française rock contemporaine, plus particulièrement dans l’œuvre de trois auteurs : V.Despentes, P.Djian et J.P Dubois.

This article presents two spiritual movements of the american counter-culture : the Beat and Hippie philosophies. By describing the conditions of their emergence, their precepts, and their influences on some american authors, we understand how these movements imposed themselves as spiritual and cultural alternatives in the USA starting from the end of the 50’s, then in France after May 1968. We’ll study then some reccuring reasons of their manifestations in the french contemporary rock literature, specially in Three author’s works : V.Despentes, P.Djian, J.P Dubois.
