Abstract

Throught his research paper, we aim to research the field of linguistics through the efforts made by the Swiss linguist Ferdinand de Saussure and identify the historical roots of this field while control lingits relationship with other fields of knowledge. Contemporary, with the control of its most important characteristics and advantages, through which de Saussure was able to control new perceptions and concepts that were the basis through which linguistic research was transformed into an interest in linguistic research.
