This pedagogical book is situated within this scientific framework and seeks to foster scientific and methodological thinking in the study of population issues. It does so by providing a systematic and accessible presentation of the theoretical and conceptual foundations of demography, with particular emphasis on major demographic indicators, population phenomena, and methods of their analysis.
