This research is a descriptive and analytical study of the general grammatical rules and origins through Al-Suyuti's"Similarities and Analogies in grammar" book which is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is theoretical. It defines the personality of Jalal al-Din Al-Suyuti ;explains the characteristics of his book, the concept of rules and total assets' origins and their characteristics, their importance and the definition of the art of similarities and analogies in grammar.
