This article aims to examine the protection of cultural heritage in the context of weak civil society frameworks and the pressures of cultural globalization, with a focus on the role of civil society, government policies, technology, and local and international partnerships. The article explores both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, analyzes the impact of globalization on cultural identity and social cohesion, and discusses the economic, social, and legal challenges facing heritage protection.
