It is based on the study of the constraints encountered in rendering novelistic discourse, and aims to highlight the importance of taking into account the marks of lexical cohesion, both in terms of comprehension and reexpression. We suggest to conduct a comparative study on two Arabic and English translations of the novel ‘The Attack’ by Yasmina Khadra.
