Mahmoud Said Omran professor of the middle ages at university of Alexandria as historian of the Crusades. We can consider prof Omarn one of the most important historians in field of relations between east and west in the middle ages not only in Egypt and the Arab world but also the world without any exaggeration. Therefore, this paper deals with his life and publications and his historical prespective in that vital epoch in history of the confront between east and west.
