The aim behind this study is to highlight the most important and prominent teaching means in our life, and which is the picture and its manifestations in the scientific arena and didactics, and mainly in the books of the Arabic language in the primary school stage. The picture has gained the position of leadership among the other forms of teaching since it outperformed the written and verbal explanation, and became an effective tool in teaching and communication specially for primary school pupils, this provokes us to investigate its essence, importance and the extent of its effectiveness in the teaching field, taking into consideration the correspondence between the exposed pictures and the Pupil’s age, his mentality and the quality of the curriculums provided by the government to activate the teaching operation to guarantee the attainment of several stated pedagogical objectives and rising it towards the best.
