Résumé:
This paper is a summary of a study that deals with the relationship between Islamic Civilization and Water. Through a critical reading of a Chapter about "the construction of Oyoun (water sources) and their systems" from an Arabic manuscript writing by Qutb al-Din Bin Ala Al-Din Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Bahaa al-Din Hanafi Qadri Khirkani Nahrawani in the sixteenth century concerning Mecca entitled: "El Ialam Bi Aalam Balad Allah El Haram" (Information on the remains of the Mecca) It deals with the problem of water in the Holy Land, by restricting actions and mentioning the interventionists, and by the inventory of innovative technologies at the time. It can also be considered a reflection of the knowledge and outstanding scientific progress of Muslims who contributed to the development of means and systems. The paper also mentions the importance of the role of women as "political decision-makers, project managers, money changers and financial officers, who are involved in major projects related to the holiest country in Mecca.
