Psychoanalytic theory became very popular in an era when the Western person was experiencing the worst suffering known throughout his history, where he found some solace in its concepts, which explained human behavior by returning it to the early childhood stage based on the studies of some cases that were trying to generalize, the situation that lost it in the eyes of The scientific value it deserves, and the contemporary German philosopher Erich Fromm is one of its most prominent critics due to the unfairness and exaggeration of this theory for being based on mere hypotheses. |
