dc.description.abstract	This study aims to capture some of the heritage features of the thinker "Zaki Najib Mahmoud", in the context of the problem of authenticity and modernity, which is one of the most prominent discourses of contemporary Arab renaissance thought, and to highlight his reading and his positions on the Arab cultural heritage; And because his position on the heritage ranged between rejection and a call to break with him at times, and a call to re-read it objectively in order to revive it at other times, we have discussed in this article two main elements: In the first, we discussed the justifications for his intellectual revolution and its break with heritage.	ar_AR
