The dialectic of classical Arabic and slang in Algerian press discourse
Written journalism has specific intentions that That necessitates the use
offunctional language more than it is literary, it has the advantage of
declaring instead of hinting in order to approach the largest possible
number of readers and solicit them for the acquisition of the newspaper by
using Attractive ways of crafting the title However, her language has often
drifted into error and slang.
This article highlights the implications of this defect and analyzes it in
order to provide a picture of the reality of linguistic use in newspapers
written in Arabic.
