Abstract
Mastering the techniques and tools or even methodologies of academic
document research in a context of overabundance of information and
technological tools proves to be a real challenge for the student throughout
his university course, especially since online document research operations
have an impact on the quality of learning and therefore the student's success.
It is in this perspective that this article addresses the issue of information
research practices conducted by a sample of students at the University of
Algiers2 Abou El Kacem Saâdallah, as well as the constraints encountered.
