The contacts and secret negotiations between France and the Liberation Front
were not too late after the outbreak of the revolution. There were several meetings
between the envoys of the French government and some of the leaders of the
revolution. The initiative was initiated by France, but this did not mean their
rejection of peace. To solve the Algerian problem and end the war as much as it was
an attempt to feel the pulse of the leaders of the revolution and the search for a gap
infiltrating through which to cause splits within the leadership of the revolution.
Despite the frequent meetings and interviews that were negotiated between the
