Résumé:
The current research aims at studying the nature of the oral language disorders associated
to children with neuro-motor disabilities in general and speech disorders in particular, the purpous of
that is to know the extent of the neuro-motor disability’s impact on the oral language involved in all
the child’s communicative activities
The researcher used both intelligence tests and primary acquisitions test to adjust research
variables. She also applied all stages of the orthophonic outcome reaching the oral language tests and
the orthophonic diagnosis.
to do so, the study relied on the analytical descriptive approach of studying a case with
neuro-motor disability that suffers from speech disorders, it relied also on reviewing literature on the
subject, the last studies as well as analyzing the case’s results that came up with the following:
- neuromotor disability is among the disabilities that affect the individual in various aspects of his
development, especially on the linguistic side, wich would be the main cause of all his other problems.
- the children with neuro motor disabilities suffer from speech disorders most of wich are organic,
directly related to brain injury. this latter’s severity is related to the severity, the location and the time
in which the child ad those injuries.
- the child with neuro-motor disability suffers from speech disorders that are organic and/or
functional, in wich manifestations of deletion, substitution, reversal, and addition appear
