Abstract:
Mohamed LAAMOURI and Colonels’ Conspiracy:a turning point in the history of the Algerian Revolution. Referring to historical sources and literatures on the Algerian revolution, this article revisits the readings produced on a historical fact of great importance, known as the "Colonels’ Conspiracy". Its outcome was marked by the execution of Mohamed LAAMOURI , one of the military leaders of the Algerian revolution. After a reminder of the young activist colonel life, from its first steps in the national movement in his native village "Ain Yakut" in the region of the Aures to his appointment as commander of the region, the author dissects the events surrounding his conviction and his execution in the context of the struggles at the top of the Algerian revolution.
