dc.description.abstract The relation of Social Sciences to Philosophy. This paper shows that, the observer of the current methodology status of contemporary social sciences is confronted with a paradoxical situation: 1-The insistence of social sciences to stand out from the disturbing philosophical inquiry, accompanied by their renunciation of metaphysical foundations matrices of major systems of knowledge, 2- Their stubborn willingness to import the methods of exact sciences based on the measurement, classification, and codification of the phenomena of the universe, and to force them onto the human and societal field initially rebellious towards all quantification, 3- The objectification of human-social phenomena "dressed" by rigorous mathematical functions, can tell a lot about the man without explaining its true essence, 4- Their insistent diversification to use methods of exact sciences to social phenomena, can lead to a “harvest rich but poor in grains’’, as said by Fabière. The solution to this paradox can be through a return of the social sciences to the fold of philosophy, which could give them questions and support them with its methodology. ar_AR
