dc.description.abstract The "Sufi symbols" constitute a translational problem due to its ambiguity and the wide interval between the time of composition and the time of translation. This article aims to study the translation of the Sufi symbols of Muhy al-Din Ibn Arabi based on "interpretation", including the “hermeneutic circle”, represented in understanding the whole from the part and understanding the part from the whole. The latter constitute a theoretical framework that leads the translator's work to break into the mystical symbols in order to reach the meaning hidden behind the ambiguous symbols ar_AR
