dc.description.abstract The city of Hippone, located in the state of Annaba in the far east of Algeria, is considered one of the most important cities historically and culturally through the richness of archaeological evidence dating back to different historical periods. and archaeological finds, whether displayed in museums or kept in storage, Among the important artifacts that the Museum of the Archaeological Site of Hippone abounds in, which is considered a masterpiece worthy of study, is the bronze statue known as Trophé. The trophy is a statue of victory or a monument of the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar, and the word trophy is a designation given to a monument built with stones of large size, to express the victory of the Roman military leaders in wars, of which only six monuments remain, (The trophies of scipione in Piran, the Trophies of Pompey in Panisar, the Trophies of Augustus in Laturbi, the Trophies of Trajan in Romania, the trophies of Sella in Bon Oxen, and finally the Trophies Einobarbus and Maximus in Avan or a statue, but this type It is very rare, The aim of this research was to give a historical overview about the archaeological site of Hippo Regius, in which this artifact was found, ar_AR
