تعد دراسة المسكوكات من الدراسات الهامة وهذا يعود لأهمية السكة في حد ذاتها حيث أنها تعد رمزًا من رموز سيادة الدولة، كما تعكس مدى تطور الفنون والصناعات، والتي تظهر من خلال الزخارف والكتابات، والمكانة التي حظيت بها السكة الجزائرية في العهد العثماني لا تقل أهميتها عن السكة التي سبقتها من حيث جودة الزخارف والنقوش والكتابات مما جعل منها مصدرا أثريا وفنيا لمعرفة مدى تطور السكة الجزائرية فنيا وزخرفيا من خلال تتبع تطور الخطوط بأنواعها المغربي والثلث والطغراء، والتي عمد الخطاط الجزائري على تجويدها وتحسينها. ووقعا اختيارنا على مجموعتي المتحف العمومي للآثار القديمة والفنون الإسلامية بالعاصمة ومتحف أحمد زبانة بوهران نموذجا للدراسة لتنوع مجموعة المسكوكات المحفوظة بهما؛ وقمنا بجردها في بطاقات فنية وابراز خصائصها وسماتها الفنية والزخرفية وتحليل زخارفها والخطوط وصور حروف. The study of coins is one of the important studies due to the importance of the coinage as it reflects the extent of the of arts, and the position that the Algerian coin enjoyed during the Ottoman era is no less important then the nimismatic that preceded it in terms of the quality of the decorations, inscriptions and writings, which made it an archaeological and artistic source to know the extent of the development of the Algerian nimismatics technically and decoratively by tracing the types of fonts which the Algerian calligrapher deliberately improved. We chose two diverse collections for studying; And, highlighting their artistic and decorative features, and analyzing their decorations and fonts.
