dc.description.abstract The rise of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) in higher education poses significant challenges for faculty in non-English-speaking countries. This study examines faculty perspectives at the Institute of Library and Archival Science, University of Algiers 2, on the integration of English learning services in the university library. A questionnaire assessed their English proficiency, academic challenges, experiences with the Center for Intensive Language Learning (CEIL), and expectations for library support. Results reveal a strong demand for services like academic writing workshops and conversation clubs. The study proposes the establishment of an Academic Writing Lab within the university library to enhance faculty members' English skills, ultimately facilitating a smoother transition to EMI. ar_AR
