The article deals with one of the pioneers of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, the poet Sheikh "Sahnoun" (may God have mercy on him), through tracing his birth and his first upbringing in terms of education and education, and what are the things that affected his genius in the field of science, literature and advocacy. Not to mention his involvement in the Algerian people's resistance to French colonialism and his imprisonment and stalking. We recall the poet's adoption of many Arab and humanitarian issues, despite his preoccupation with the cause of his people and his suffering from hateful French colonialism. يتناول المقال أحد رواد جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين الشيخ الشاعر "أحمد سحنون" (رحمة الله)، من خلال تتبع مولده ونشأته الأولى من الناحية التربوية والتعليمية، وما الأشياء التي أثرت في نبوغه في مجال العلم والأدب والدعوة. ناهيك عن انخراطه في مقاومة الشعب الجزائري للاستعمار الفرنسي وتعرضه للسجن والمطاردة، ونذكر تبني الشاعر لعديد القضايا العربية والإنسانية على الرغم انشغاله بقضية شعبه ومعاناته من الاستعمار الفرنسي البغيض.T

يظهر هذا المقال الدور الذي قامت به الحركة الاستشراقية في تناولها لموضوع التراث الاسلامي، مبرزاً الدوافع والأهداف من وراء اهتمام الغرب بالشرق الاسلامي . و ما يدعو إلى تناول هذا الموضوع هو ان نشأة هذه الحركة لم يكن مقتصراً على أفراد من المفكرين من ذوي الاختصاصات الأكاديمية فحسب بل تبنتها و اشرفت عليها ومولتها الحكومات الغربية التي اتخذت من المستشرقين أداة لها لغزو الشرق عموماً والشرق العربي الاسلامي خصوصاً لأهميته جغرافيا واقتصاديا من جهة وخطورته ثقافياً وحضاريا ودينيا بالنسبة لأوربا من جهة أخرى، وهذا ما يجعل الدارس للظاهرة الاستشراقية يتساءل عن الأهداف والدواعي والخلفية التي كانت ترمي إليها الحركة الاستشراقية، نشأة وتطوراً. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أنه الحكم على الاستشراق لا يمكن حصره في مجال دون آخر و أن المستشرقين لم يكونوا طبقة واحدة منسجمة في الأهداف والدوافع . بل هم فريقان : الأول ويمثل الأغلبية خدم الاستعمار وسعى إلى فرض ايديولوجيته ودينه ساعياً إلى تشويه كل ما هو عربي إسلامي، والثاني وهم قلة ممن خدموا العلم وتجردوا له This article shows the role played by the Orientalist movement in addressing the subject of Islamic heritage, highlighting the motives and objectives behind the West's interest in the Islamic East. What calls for addressing this subject is that the emergence of this movement was not limited to individuals from thinkers with academic specializations only, but it was adopted, supervised and funded by Western governments that used Orientalists as a tool to invade the East in general and the Arab Islamic East in particular due to its geographical and economic importance on the one hand and its cultural, civilizational and religious danger for Europe on the other hand. This is what makes the researcher of the Orientalist phenomenon wonder about the goals, motives and background that the Orientalist movement was aiming for, in its emergence and development. The study concluded that the judgment on Orientalism cannot be confined to one field or another and that Orientalists were not a single class consistent in goals and motives. Rather, they are two groups: the first, which represents the majority, served colonialism and sought to impose its ideology and religion, seeking to distort everything that is Arab and Islamic, and the second, which is a minority, who served science and devoted themselves to it.
