L’évolution de la psychothérapie d’un adolescent névrotique: de l’investigation à la prise en charge

Abstract

Résumé: Chercheurs et cliniciens se sont penchés depuis quelques années sur la question de l’évaluation des psychothérapies. Les deux questions de pourquoi et de comment une psychothérapie marche restent toujours au centre de la recherche en psychothérapie. Privilégiant, sur le plan méthodologique, la méthode de l’étude de cas, l’auteur de cet article propose de tracer les moments clé de l’évolution de la psychothérapie d’un adolescent: le cas Karim. Ce cas, tel qu’il est présenté, met l’accent sur certains éléments en rapport avec la deuxième question, c’est-à-dire sur les mécanismes de changement et comment se produisent-ils au cours de la psychothérapie. ملخص: يهتم الباحثين والعيادين منذ بضعة سنوات بمسألة تقييم العلاجات النفسية للإجابة عن سؤالين أساسيين ما يزالان في صميم هذا الموضوع وهما: لماذا وكيف ينجز العالج النفسي. اعتمد كاتب هذا المقال، من الناحية المنهجية، على طريقة دراسة الحالة حيث يقترح وصف وتحديد المراحل الأساسية التي تميز تطور العالج النفسي لحالة شاب مراهق وهو حالة كريم. تسمح هذه الحالة، مثلما عرضها الكاتب بالإحاطة ببعض العناصر المرتبطة بالسؤال الثاني أي بميكانيىزمات التغير وكيفية حدوثه أثناء العالج النفسي. Abstract: Researchers and clinicians have been recently concerned about the evaluation of psychotherapy to answer two basic questions: why and how psychotherapy is performed. A case study was used to describe and define the basic stages that characterize the development of psychotherapy of a young adolescent, Kamel. This situation, as presented by the author, allows us to take note of some of the elements related to the second question, namely mechanics of change and how it occurs during psychotherapy.
