أهمية الأرغنوميا في مجال الرعاية الصحية – مصلحة الاستعجالات نموذجا

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى إبراز مفهوم الأرغنوميا وأهميتها في القطاع الصحي بصفة عامة وقسم الاستعجالات بصفة خاصة، وذلك من خلال تعداد مزايا وفوائد الأرغنوميا في تكييف العمل والمعدات والتجهيزات لمن سيستعملها، وذلك من خلال التصميم الجيد والتنظيم الهادف والترتيب المناسب لأداء المهمة المطلوبة أو المنتظرة، بأقل مجهود ممكن، وبأكبر قدر من الكفاءة والأمان للتقليل من المخاطر ومنع الإصابات والحوادث قبل وقوعها. وعليه تم طرح التساؤل عما يمكن أن تقدمه الأرغنوميا للمساهمة في معالجة المشاكل التي يعاني منها قسم الاستعجالات خاصة فيما يخص تقييم التصميم المادي للوقوف على مدى استجابته للمعايير الأرغنومية. ونظرا لكون التطبيق الموحد لمبادئ التصميم من البلدان ذات الدخل المرتفع قد يكون غير مناسب بسبب العديد من العوامل المادية والاجتماعية، فقد تم التركيز على دراسات قامت بمعالجة معايير التصميم المادي لمصلحة الاستعجالات على مستوى بلدان ذات الخل المنخفض والمتوسط. وقد أكدت نتائج مختلف الدراسات السابقة على أهمية الأرغنوميا في عملية تقييم التصميم المادي لقسم الاستعجالات. وتتمثل هذه العملية في مشروع تشغيلي يدور حول مختلف أنواع الخدمات التي يجب أن يقدمها موظفو الرعاية الصحية لا سيما منها إمكانية الوصول، المساحات المادية والهياكل والمعدات، إقامة المرضى، إقامة الموظفين، خصوصية المريض وخصوصية الطاقم الصحي. حيث توفر هذه الأنواع من الدراسات لمديري الرعاية الصحية الأداة اللازمة لاتخاذ قرارات سريعة ودقيقة فيما يتعلق بتوسيع قسم الطوارئ وتطويره.

The current study aimed to highlight the concept of ergonomics and its importance in the health sector in general and the emergency department in particular, by enumerating the advantages and benefits of ergonomics in adapting work, as well as equipment and supplies to those who will use them, through good design, purposeful organization and appropriate arrangement, to perform the required or expected task with minimal effort possible, and as efficiently and safely as possible to reduce risks and prevent injuries and accidents before they occur. Accordingly, the question was raised about what ergonomics can offer to contribute to addressing the problems that the emergency department suffers from, especially with regard to evaluating the physical design to determine the extent to which it responds to ergonomic standards. Given that uniform application of design principles from high-income countries may be inappropriate due to many physical and social factors, the focus has been on studies that address physical design standards for the sake of the emergency department at the level of low- and middle-income countries. The results of various previous studies confirmed the importance of ergonomics in the process of evaluating the physical design of the emergency department. This process is an operational project that includes the various types of services that must be provided by health care staff, particularly including accessibility, physical spaces structures and equipment, patient’s accommodation, staff accommodation, patient privacy, and staff privacy.
