Abstract

شكلت صناعة الزجاج ثورة حقيقة في مسيرة التطور والتمدن البشري عبر العصور وحقب التاريخ، وغدت صناعته وفنونها مظهراً من المظاهر الحضارية للأمم والشعوب وجانباً من جوانب الازدهار الاقتصادي والرقي الفني والعمراني والقيمة الوجدانية، ومع اتساع العمران وازدهار الحواضر عرفت صناعة الزجاج رواجاً كبير، فاستحدثت التقنيات وتطورت وسائل التصنيع، واندمجت الصناعة بالفن والجمالية وخاصة في العهد الإسلامي. The glass industry constituted a real revolution in the process of human development and urbanization through the ages and eras of history, and its industry and arts became a manifestation of civilization for nations and peoples and an aspect of economic prosperity, artistic and urban sophistication, and emotional value. Industrialization and industry merged with art and aesthetics, especially in the Islamic era.
