التّنافس الأوروبي على خليج غينيا (1870- 1900م)

Abstract

شهدت منطقة خليج غينيا موجة استعمارية حادة خلال القرن 19م بعدما تحولت إلى ميدان للمنافسة بين أكبر الدول الاستعمارية آنذاك وهي فرنسا وبريطانيا وألمانيا، وقد تميزت هذه المنطقة بمقومات استراتيجية هامة جعلت منها محل صراع ونزاع بين مختلف الدول الأوروبية باعتبار هذه الأخيرة خزنا لليد العاملة المتنوعة والمواد الأولية ، كان التّنافس الأوروبي على منطقة خليج غينيا في البداية فرنسيا و بريطانيا، ولكن مع نهاية القرن 19م تحول إلى تنافس فرنسي ــ بريطاني ــ ألماني خاصة بعد إعلان الحكومة الألمانية الخروج من عزلتها بإحياء مراكزها التّجارية القديمة هناك .

The Gulf of Guinea region witnessed a sharp wave of colonialism during the 19th century AD after it turned into an arena for competition between the largest colonial powers at the time, namely France, Britain, and Germany. This region was characterized by important strategic components that made it a subject of conflict and conflict between various European countries, considering the latter a storehouse of diverse labor and raw materials. The European competition over the Gulf of Guinea region was initially French and British, but by the end of the 19th century AD it turned into a French-British-German competition, especially after the German government announced it would emerge from its isolation by reviving its old commercial centers there.
