اركوس جارفي ومشروع العودة إلى إفريقيا 1887-1940م

Abstract

عد الزعيم الجاميكي ماركوس جارفي صاحب شعار إفريقيا للإفريقيين من أهم الشخصيات الأفرو-أمريكية الذين ساهموا في توحيد الزنوج في جميع أنحاء العالم والدفاع عن قضية الجنس الأسود و إعادة الاعتبار له. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى كشف الغموض والجدل اللذين لا طالما أحاطا بهذه الشخصية، بالاضافة إلى محاولة إبراز دوره الفعال في مشروع الوحدة الإفريقية باعتباره الأب الروحي لها، وذلك من خلال برنامجه الأساسي المتمثل في مشروع العودة إلى إفريقيا.

The Jamaican leader Marcus Mosiah Garvey whose slogan “Africa for Africans”was one of the most prominent Afro-American figures who helped unite the Black race all over the world, defended their cause and sought its rehabilitation. This study aims at Exploring the ambiguity and controversy that had long surrounded the personality of Marcus Garvey, moreover, it attempts to highlight his effective role in the unity of Africa Movement as he is considered as a spiritual father, through the “Back to Africa” movement.
