إفريقيا البروقنصلية خلال فترة حكم الأسرة اليوليوكلاودية 27 ق.م- 68 م

Abstract

بعدما استتب لأوكتافيوس الحكم سنة 27ق.م؛ تغير النظام الجمهوري إلى نظام إمبراطوري، وتغيرت مع ذلك تسمية إفريقيا القديمة إلى إفريقيا البروقنصلية بعد أن ضُمت إليها مقاطعة إفريقيا الجديدة. ويعتبر هذا التحول نقطة هامة في تاريخ الرومان؛ إذ أدى ذلك إلى ازدياد رغبتهم التوسعية وفق ما يقتضيه النظام الإمبراطوري من توسع، رافقه تغيير في سياسة إدارة المقاطعات، فأصبح بعضها تابعا للإمبراطور وأُلحق البعض الآخر بمجلس الشيوخ، وتبعا لذلك فقد أُسندت إدارة إفريقيا البروقنصلية إلى مجلس الشيوخ . ومن هنا سنحاول من خلال هذه الدراسة تسليط الضوء على هذه المقاطعة السيناتورية في فترة حكم أولى الأسر الإمبراطورية وهي الأسرة اليوليوكلاودية After Octavius stabilised in reign in 27 BC.; The republican system changed to an imperial one, and the name of ancient Africa changed to Africa Proconsularis after it was joined by the New Africa Province.
