Abstract

حركة الإصلاح الزراعي في روما خلال النصف الثاني من القرن الثاني قبل الميلاد، مركزّة على جهود الأخوين تيبريوس وكايوس كراكوس. حاول الأخوان معالجة التفاوت الكبير في توزيع الأراضي الزراعية، حيث كان الأثرياء يسيطرون على مساحات واسعة، مما أدي إلى تفاقم الفقر بين الفلاحين. اقترح الكراكيون إعادة توزيع الأراضي العامة على الفقراء والفلاحين الصغار، لكن إصلاحاتهما واجهت معارضة شديدة من الطبقة الارستقراطية. انتهت هذه الجهود باغتيال تيبريوس عام 133ق.م وكايوس في 121ق.م. تعتبر هذه الإصلاحات نقطة تحول مهمة في التاريخ الروماني، إذ ساهمت في تأجيج التوترات الاجتماعية والسياسية التي ساعدت لاحقًا في انهيار الجمهورية وظهور الامبراطورية.

These reforms are considered a pivotal moment in Roman history, as they contributed to the growing social and political tensions that eventually led to the collapse of the Republic and the rise of the Empire.
