Abstract

تعتبر الأرصدة الوثائقية، بمختلف أشكالها، من المقومات الأساسية للخدمات المكتبية، لذلك فهي تتطلب رعاية مستمرة من اجل الحفاظ على سلامتها المادية، خصوصا تلك التي عانت وقاومت الظروف الطبيعية القاسية لسنين أو حتى لقرون طويلة. من هنا، تظهر ضرورة تكوين الطلاب، كونهم أرشيفي وأمناء مكتبات في المستقبل، وتزويدهم بقدر وافر من المعلومات حول كيفية الاعتناء بالمجموعات الوثائقية، سواء في المكتبات أو في مراكز الأرشيف. تتمثل أهداف هذا المقرر في عرض المبادئ الأساسية لحفظ المواد المكتبية وأرشيف المؤسسات. قد لم نتعمق في جميع الأساليب والتقنيات المعتمدة، ولكن يتوفر محتوى هذه المطبوعة على معلومات أساسية لتمكين الطالب، كونه مقبل على العمل في المكتبات ومؤسسات التوثيق، من الاطلاع على المبادئ الأساسية لحفظ و صيانة المجموعات والتقليل من عواقب المخاطر التي تتهددها و ذلك من خلال توفير أفضل الظروف الممكنة لرعايتها.Documentary collections are an essential part of library services and require constant care to maintain their physical integrity, especially those that have endured harsh natural conditions for years or even centuries. It is therefore necessary to train students as future archivists and librarians and to provide them with a wealth of information on the care of documentary collections, whether in libraries or in archive centers. The aim of this publication is to present the basic principles of preservation of library materials and institutional archives. We have not gone into all the methods and techniques used, but the content of this publication offers basic information that will enable the student who will work in libraries and documentation institutions to know the basic principles of preserving and maintaining collections and minimizing the consequences of the risks that threaten them by providing the best possible conditions for their care.
