تدور أحداث رواية "حائط المبكى" لعز الدين جلاوجي حول فنان تشكيلي موهوب طالب في مدرسة الفنون الجميلة يغرم هناك بفتاة سمراء جميلة وتتسارع الأحداث ويشهد راح ضحيتها فتاة في العشرينات، هذه الحادثة كانت له بمثابة منعرج في حياته فهو يعيش حالة نفسية متغيرة تغير الأماكن التي شهدتها الرواية، سنحاول في هذا البحث عرض الأماكن المغلقة التي استعملها الكاتب لتقديم مشاهد وقوع الأحداث وتبيان دلالاتها.
