صدى زلزال الأصنام 1954 في جريدة البصائر الجزائرية

Abstract

يعالج المقال تفاعل جريدة البصائر مع الزلزال العنيف الذي أصاب مدينة الاصنام و ضواحيها عام 1954، من حيث التغطية الإعلامية لحوادث الكارثة الطبيعية و الخسائر المادية و البشرية المترتبة عنها،و التشهير بالموقف العنصري لكل من الإدارة الاستعمارية و حكومة المتروبول إزاء المنكوبين الجزائريين،و فضح أيضا محاولة المنصرين استغلال الظروف الكارثية للمنكوبين و القيام بتمسيحهم ، و على نقيض من ذلك أشادت البصائر بالجهود المضنية المبذولة من قبل جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين في انقاذ واسعاف المنكوبين،و بالموقف المصري المشرف حيال المتضررين بكارثة الزلزال The article deals with the reaction of Al-Basaer newspaper to the violent earthquake that struck the city of Al-Asnam and its suburbs in 1954, in terms of media coverage of the natural disaster incidents and the resulting material and human losses, and the exposure of the racist stance of both the colonial administration and the metropolitan government towards the Algerian victims, and also exposing the attempt of missionaries to exploit the catastrophic circumstances of the victims and to Christianize them. In contrast, Al-Basaer praised the strenuous efforts of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars in rescuing and providing aid to the victims, and the honorable Egyptian stance towards those affected by the earthquake disaster..
