التجاني عمر بن سعيد تال الفوتي وإصلاحه الديني والسياسي في غرب إفريقيا(1794-1864م)

Abstract

تعد الحركة الإصلاحية للشيخ الحاج عمر تال التجاني، من أهم الحركات السياسية الدينية التي عرفتها منطقة غرب إفريقيا في القرن التاسع عشر، إذ كانت تهدف لنشر الإسلام الصحيح، وإحياء روح الجهاد، قامت بخلفية صوفية تجانية، في ظرف عرف فيه المد الاستعماري المسنود بالكنيسة البابوية أطنابه، استطاع الحاج عمر في ظرف وجيز أن يجمع له شرائح واسعة من الناقمين على تردي الأوضاع ويوجههم لضرب الاستعمار، وقلاع الوثنية ورموزها، بَاسطاً سلطانه على جغرافية شاسعة، وعمل جاهداً على تطهير الإسلام من الشوائب والخزعبلات التي علقت به، كما أبانت ثورته عن اجتماع سمات القيادة الرشيدة، والعلم الوافر والحكمة البالغة، يُغديها حب الجهاد والذود عن الديار The reform movement of Sheikh El Hadj Omar Tall Tigani, one of the most important movements known to West Africa in the nineteenth century, its objective was to disseminate the true Islam, and to revive the spirit of jihad. This movement made a mystic al Tidjanya background, under a circumstance that witnessed the peak of the French colonial wave backed up with the church. El Hadj Omar however was able in very short time to gather his fellow followers to fight the French colonialism and get rid of Christian beliefs, and was able to extend its authority across a vast area. He worked hard to clean Islam from all irrational ideologies that were meant to spoil the Islamic religion. This revolution therefore showed that he is a great leader, a man of knowledge and wisdom and a loving patriot to his country.
