Abstract

After the independence, the educational policy in Algeria went through several different stages, This study seeks to clarify the effect of different environmental conditions (Historical conditions, Political conditions, Economic and international conditions) On building educational policy in Algeria By analyzing the surrounding conditionsof establishment of Presidential Order No 35/76 Dated 16 April, 1976 This is known as basic school, That constituted a very important stage in the history of the educational policy of Algeria, Through the goals that educational policy has brought including free education, compulsory education democracy, and other principles underlying the educational policy.
