أثر تكنولوجيا الترجمة على ترجمة النصوص العلمية ذات السياق التاريخي: دراسة مقارنة تحليلية وتقييمية لترجمات برامج الترجمة "SDL Trados, MateCat, QTranslate, Reverso Context" من الإنكليزية إلى العربية نموذجا

Abstract

تهدف الدراسة إلى قياس مدى جودة الترجمة العلمية باستعمال الترجمة الآلية وبرامج الترجمة بمساعدة الحاسوب لبحث تأثير الجانب التاريخي وسياقه على الجانب العلمي أثناء الترجمة. وتعتمد مدوّنة الدراسة على تحليل الترجمة العربية لــ(16) نص علمي باللغة الإنكليزية (11 نص منها ذو سياق تاريخي) من خمس مجالات علمية مختلفة وترجمتها باستعمال أربع برامج للترجمة هي: SDL Trados Studio 2019، وMateCat، وQTranslate، وReverso Context، ثم تقييمها ومقارنة النتائج بالترجمة المُحكّمة. واعتمدنا في تحليل نتائج الدّراسة على أسلوب تحليل مستويات الأخطاء في الترجمة لتقييم مخرجات تكنولوجيا الترجمة. وقد تم التوصل إلى عدّة نتائج أهمها: أنّ برامج الترجمة الآلية المعتمدة على المقاربة الإحصائية أثبتت عدم نجاعتها وتأثيرها السلبي على جودة نواتج الترجمة العلمية، في حين أنّ مُخرجات الترجمة بمساعدة الحاسوب التي يتدخّل فيها الإنسان باستعمال ذواكر الترجمة أو بالتنقيح والتعديل، أثبتت تفوّقها في جميع المجالات وهو ما أثّر إيجابا على جودة الترجمة في النصوص العلمية. فبالنظر إلى نوع تكنولوجيا الترجمة المستعملة ومقارباتها يختلف التأثير. The study aims to measure scientific translation quality using machine translation and computer-assisted translation programs investigating the historical aspect's impact and its context on scientific field during translation. The study's corpus relies on analyzing the Arabic translation of (16) scientific texts in English (11 texts of a historical context) from five different scientific fields and translating them using four translation software programs: SDL Trados Studio 2019, MateCat, QTranslate, and Reverso Context, then evaluating and comparing the results with reference translation. The study's results relied on analyzing errors levels in translation to evaluate the translation technology's outputs. The main results are: machine translation programs based on statistical approach prove their ineffectiveness and their negative impact on the scientific translation outputs quality; while, computer-assisted translation outputs wherein human intervenes using translation memories, or revision and modification, prove their advantage in all fields. This affected positively the translation's quality in scientific texts. Thus, the effect varies depending on the translation technology's type and its approaches.
