Abstract
The current study aimed to assess semantic memory among children with Dawn syndrome with mild intellectual disability. The researchers' hypothesis was that children with Dawn syndrome suffer from difficulties at the semantic memory level. An experimental study was conducted at Ahmed Zabaneh Elementary School for Boys in Blida state, relying on the descriptive method using a case study technique. It consisted of 8 children with Dawn syndrome, and then the test results were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The study concluded that children with Dawn syndrome, a mild intellectual disability, suffer from difficulties at the semantic memory level.
