Abstract

يركز هذا البحث على ظاهرة دلالية هامة وهي المشترك اللّفظي. ونسعى من خلاله إلى معرفة ما إذا راعى المترجمون المعاني المُرادة للمشترك اللّفظي وما مدى استيعابهم لهذه الظاهرة في القرآن الكريم وما هي الأساليب والتقنيات المستعملة في ترجمتهم لنتسخلص في الأخير مدى تأثير التفسير في ترجمة المشترك اللّفظي. وللإجابة على هذه الإشكالية، قمنا بتحليل ومقارنة خمس ألفاظ مشتركة وردت عند مصنفي كتب الوجوه والنظائر كالدامغاني وابن الجوزي، ثمّ توصلنا إلى نتيجة مفادها أنّ ترجمة المشترك اللّفظي في القرآن الكريم تتأثر بالتفسير وتتنوع أساليب ترجمته بين الترجمة الحرفية والتكافؤ والتطويع والإبدال والاقتراض، وتتنوع التقنيات بين الإضافة والحذف والتغيير والهوامش، وهذا راجع إلى مبتغى المترجم وقصده الذي يتراوح بين الإبقاء على روح النص الأصلي وحرفيته، وبين الاهتمام أكثر بقارئ النص الهدف وثقافته ومحاولة إعطاء الطابع الثقافي الخاص باللّغة الهدف. This research paper is mainly concerned with exploring an important linguistic phenomenon known as polysemy and homonymy. We aim to examine the translation procedures used by translators and the impact of Qur’an exegesis, also called ‘Tafsir’, on the translation of polysemic and homonymic words from Arabic into English. In fact, we have analyzed and compared five samples extracted from the holy Qur’an, which revealed the outstanding role of ‘Tafsit’ in choosing the right equivalent, then we have come to a conclusion that the translation procedures of polysemic and homonymic words diverse between literal translation, equivalence, modulation, transposition and borrowing; and the translation techniques vary between addition, subtraction, alteration and footnotes, depending on the translator’s intention by maintaining the original text’s spirit or focusing more on the target language reader’s culture.
