Abstract

لقد انجز إدوارد سعيد، مشروعاً فكرياً ومعرفياً ذو نزعة نقدية واضحة المعالم، اتسمت بعمق الرؤية ودقة التحليل ضمن استراتيجية تهدف إلى مقاومة كل أنواع التمييز والظلم والهيمنة والتسلط الذي فرضته مؤسسات السلطة كالاستشراق والإمبرياليةوتميزت مقاربة إدوارد سعيد النقدية بالثراء والتنوع، سواءاً من حيث الموضوعات التي استكشفها أو من حيث طرق التعامل مع تلك الموضوعات أو من حيث الأدوات المنهجية والمصطلحات النقدية التي طوّرها، أو من حيث المرجعيات التي استند عليها. لقد كان حاداً وصارماً في اختياراته النقدية، وفي نقده للنقد والنقد الثقافي والنقد الأدبي داعياً إلى إعادة بعث الوعي النقدي، بالاستناد إلى مفهوم الدنيوية وروح الهواية ونبذ الاحترافية وتفعيل القراءة الطباقية والاحتفاء بالهجنة وغيرها من المفاهيم

Edward Said has accomplished an intellectual and cognitive project with a clear critical tendency, characterized by depth of vision and accurate analysis within a strategy aimed at resisting all kinds of discrimination, injustice, domination and authoritarianism, which were imposed by the institutions of power such as Orientalism and imperialism.
